Here’s a terrifically enjoyable film from the Coen Brothers, by far their most accessible film and one that everyone can enjoy. 

In Hollywood of the early 1950s, studio fixer Eddie Mannix (Josh Brolin) is busy at work trying to solve all the problems of the actors and filmmakers at Capitol Pictures. His latest assignments involve a disgruntled director, a singing cowboy, a beautiful swimmer and a handsome dancer.When the star of a Roman Epic, George Clooney, is kidnapped by a mysterious group calling themselves The Future,  adds that to his list of headaches. 

Packed with period detail, perfectly cast and filled with wonderful performances, Hail, Caesar! is a grin inducing, often hilarious love letter to the golden age of Hollywood, when you could move from studio to studio and find a Western, a Musical, a Comedy, a Melodrama...not just Superheroes and Franchise films.
